What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

Hubs

Adam Johnsonemailed us about the launch of Hubs TV! Hubs is a music video website (that functions kind of like a jukebox) which allows you and your friends to program your own channel, dedicate songs to those you love and loath and make real time comments displayed on your “hub”. Built by Adam, designed by Rinzen & written by Aaron Peasley.

  1. I thought it was a really nice website until a) I realised you can only browse videos alphabetically… and b) they are just linking in YouTube videos and the-like.

What’s the point when I can just search and share YouTube videos by going to youtube.com where all my friends already have accounts? :|

Like I said, the site looks nice, but needs to do something different.

  3. I agree coxy! I did mention to Adam that I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the videos which obviously falls back on the shit of youtube. That said it’s just a beta and they are planning to get record labels involved and get higher quality vids in the future!

I’m sure the guys will be looking for a lot of feedback and will make it work. But I think you right in that it needs something extra to make it stand out than just a nice interface.

  5. I just noticed that the logo of HubsTv reminds me the swastika.
