What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

Inspiration / Sleevage

Sleevage

Album covers and graphic design are like posters and hands, for some reason they just go togeather. Sleevage is likely to appeal to anyone with the slightest interest in album covers as well as full blown affciandos. It’s still a work in progress but there’s a wealth of album covers listed by artists and design studio on their site. The best bit is they try to get a bit of background on each cover and if possible some early working comps, giving insight into the creation of many iconic covers. They’re currently look for new writers to add to their team for which you get payment in gig tickets and CDs if you think you can cut the cheese!

Whilst were on about music, although off topic, check out one of Last.fm testing ground projects, ‘Most Unwanted Scrobbles’ which lists the top 5 most deleted artists (i.e. your guilty little secrets that you listen to when you’ve had one too many). Good to see Britney’s all the way up there but Radiohead as well – now that puzzles me. Thanks to the Gurdian’s Guide Magazine for spotting Last.fms most deleted list.
