
2008 marks the 30th anniversary of this small creation part of the Danish company’s popular toy line. While we take the minifigure for granted, the design as actually a long process that slowly evolved. Since its debut in 1978, the design has changed and had many, many iterations.

Wow, old skool lego figures.. You don’t see many of them these days – are they all under your beds?
I always felt I didn’t have enough lego as a child and looking at that photo has rekindled the feeling.. Perhaps I need to go out and get some to make up for a misspent youth (no mum, building blocks are NOT the same!)
