We’re excited to announce that from today FFF and The Serif will be merging. Serif founder Jim, and the rest of The Serif team will be coming across to FFF, meaning there will now be twice as many of us searching out the best inspirational design from around the world.
It isn’t just the team that is developing, over the coming months there will be some big changes to FFF, with a ground-up redesign of the site. We’re really excited about the future, so if you have suggestions of improvements you’d like to see in the redesign, let us know.

Welcome to the whole Serif crew! As J said, we’re going to start completely from scratch! Any comments or suggestions are more than welcome. I know a lot of people want elements from the serif to appear on FFF and we’ll try our best to do that.

…if you people already decieded to go with a different design from now on, it would be great if the site would work with safari 2 again (”work” machine, can’t update it)…now it just quits if javascript is on while the site loads

My suggestion would be to make a transparent redesign, show us the process, let us ask questions about why you do certain things. You want to foster and create a community then get a good start and involve us from the ground up with you.

disappointing actually. the readership of the two sites are quite different; the serif in particular has such specific graphic design content where as fff is a cloud of design. i subscribe to the serif because i don’t have to sift through a giant mass of subject matter. just another “design” blog, please do something special with this.
