Following on from Glenn’s earlier post on T26 and Wooden Type Impressions, comes Wooden Type Fonts. Lacking in the beautiful analogous blips, scuffs and misprints that make letter press so enticing, but Wooden type Fonts is about historically accurate reproductions of 19th century wooden typefaces. Sold on a individual font basis it’s a little cheaper than the Wooden Type Impressions disc but certainly worth looking at even if it’s not as salivating as the fonts from T26. Have a look and decide where to spend all those piles of money that you have lying around.

Good list of typefaces there! Shamethey had to ruin it with those tacky 3d letters
Gil – What was that book called again that you showed me a while back with all the old type references?

It’s something like Old Vintage type. I think we have it here in the studio so I;’ll have a look later and post it up whilst on the topic of type.
Just sat designing my first typefaces—very scary!
