A simple and ingenious piece of self promotion for copywriter Mike Reed, designed by 300million. I found this little gem whilst browsing through their blog, which has a wealth of projects that aren’t in their main folio area but are every bit as good as those that are. As more and more agencies adopt a blog, I’m sure a lot of small but just as stunning projects are being posted up by agencies but in the most part aren’t as widely seen. Dig a little deeper ah, you never know what you might find!

This is great, like those paper puzzles you get.
Whetherspoons (UK) did something like this, years ago for some drinks promo.
Good find!

I was on placement here when this was being made. Luckily though they had another placement in making them all day for about a week, so I didn’t have to attempt to get my head round any of it!

Once again, blushing gratitude to all. Especially Adam’s unsung colleague, whom I never got to meet and to whom I owe so much. I couldn’t have done it. (I’ve taken one to pieces, and I still don’t really understand it.)

This is a great piece of work. Even after I put about 30 of these together while on placement at 300million (and I credit my precision folding to this very task) I still don’t know how they came up with it in the first place.

That is amazing. If I could get hold of a copy, you would be welcome to quote on any copywriting we have (although thats quite rare I am afraid) and would be glad to put your name forward should the opportunity arise. Where are you located.

Ben, finally I know who to thank. Thank you. Brilliant folding that I imagine drove you nuts at the time.
Martin, how can I refuse? I’m based just outside London, in Surrey. Most of my clients are in London, but I also work for people in Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and even Jordan! Drop me an email with your address to mike[at]reedwords.co.uk and I’ll send you a mailer.
Lastly, Gil and Jack – sorry, I didn’t really mean to turn your lovely blog into a new business portal for myself! If anyone else would like a mailer or more details, please email me. Thanks.

Cheers Mike, but I’m sure there was many placements before me that got in on the folding act. All I did was follow instructions really, it’s the ‘million who deserve the credit for coming up with it in the first place.

Got mine, and I’m fairly sure it’s put together using some kind of witchcraft.
Reminds me – a few years ago I met a “Professor of Paper Technology” from MIT. He basically got paid to work out new and interesting ways to fold stuff. Brilliant job.

I put some of these together on a placement there. Drove me a bit crazy.
All credit goes to kerry at 300m though.

Thanks Jonathan! Anyone who folded even one of them deserves serious credit.
