For those of you that (like myself) have aimlessly scoured ebay for a full set of beautiful wood type, T26′s Wood Type Impressions DVD containing 262 high-resolution (600-dpi) grayscale TIFF images of a whole variety of typefaces should be a godsend! The $329 price tag is a bit of a set back though

This actually looks really cool, sure you could do some amazing work. But seems expensive for a dvd. Would still rather have a real thing.

They are good but a complete ballache to work with.
I would much rather just go get something printed.

I know, I know! I’d much rather have the real thing as well! I’m just saying this is an alternative.
Stewart – I’ve got my crowbar and swag-bag at the ready. Let me know when you’re on your way and we’ll clear the place out
Craig – liking that CAP ’50 MOTION GRAPHICS ESSENTIALS’ piece you did by the way!

Pretty cool idea since they are made from real wood type, but I agree having the original and doing it yourself makes it way cooler.
I actually just bought some metal type off ebay to experiment with.

Saw this post at work, came home and uploaded a scan I’ve had on my desktop for months now…
