For anyone who hasn’t read or heard of Wired Magazine before, shame on you! But there’s still hope for you yet. We got a very nice email from the team at Wired magazine with an announcement that they’re going to be launching a UK version very soon. From my own experience of Wired they’ve had plenty of big names do work for them on a regular basis and alongside beautiful layouts and interesting print processes. One of my personal favorites being Marian Bantjes.
Here’s what they had to say.
Wired is launching in the UK next spring!
The US edition of Wired is renowned for its fantastic art direction, and
Wired UK is actively seeking to uphold this tradition – with a British and
European twist. We’re looking to add the very best in emerging European
talent to our already impressive roster of high-end, well-established
contributors, so whether you’re a graphic artist, illustrator, photographer,
typographer or model maker, we’d like to see your work.Email us at wired.jobs@condenast.co.uk with WIRED-DESIGN in the subject
heading.

Should be sweet and even better for it to be published in the UK. I wonder how the content will differ and keep up with the stuff coming from over the pond?
