Really nice little videos. Really like the final logo, especially it’s ‘pirate’ application – flip it upside down – nice! I have to admit that I’m surprised by how bad the alternative logos were. Obama’s overall campaign and website are relatively well handled in comparison to the usual guff that’s produced for presidential campaigns. Not bad at all.

Cool, interesting video and nice to see a design agency happy to talk through their process and even show other presented concepts which we’re ultimately unsuccessful. Nice visual applications as well. I really liked the first masked ‘O’ concept as well as the final mark.

Interesting.
Failed to mention that on roll out it had a blue bg, making it look a little like a black sunrise. Was it a mistake? When was it changed?

All I see when I look at that logo is the Bank of America logo. Given the current state of the economy, the bail outs from the government and the governments new role as a superbank it is quite appropriate I guess.
