What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

I presume we’re going to see a lot more this ‘Data Moshing’ effect this year, so I might as well post this now. You’ve probably already seen Kanye’s new video using the effect.

  6. Yeah, I can’t say that I like it all that much. Seems overdone and kind of with out much value. Especially in the case of Kanye. Im also kind of tired of seeing a lot of form in work today and not really any sense of function. Not to say its nec. to have all of these uber functional pieces of art ( being thats not really the point in most cases ) but I just think that the artistry is fleeing the scene for the case of “hot new shit”

  9. I’ve always found that it is most difficult to make something look like a mistake or random when you are trying to do it. The video does a nice job of designing the chaos

    I’d agree with most of you that this is certainly one of those cool at the moment styles! But I do like some of the random colours it throughs out.
