What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

A little competition for our German readers. If you have too much time on their hands, would like to visit the Basel Art Show or just like a fresh espresso. Design a the side panels of one of these beauties and your in with a chance to win. Helps if you’ve been to one of the German cities that the Ena Styling Tour goes to I suppose.

  3. Yeah I would love to submit something, but sadly I can not read the site. I could submit something, but I don’t know if the directions allow U.S residents to…

  5. OK, for all the non-German speakers out there I’ll do a quick translate…

Design a graphic that will adorn the sidepanels of the worlds’ smallest full-automatic. No limitations except that your idea should be inspired by one of the 7 cities on the tour (Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich & Nuremberg). WHich city you go for is up to you!

The 7 ‘city-winners’ will be decided through an online voting system (from 10th – 26th April) and the the main prize will be awarded by a jury. All winners will also be exhibited on the tour.

The 7 ‘city-winners’ get and ENA with their design and the overall winner wins a ‘ENA Style Weekend to Art Basel for 2, including travel and 4* Hotel accommodation.

Deadline is the 5th April 2009.

To download the template click on ‘Muster Download’ and to upload your design select ‘Entwurf Upload’. EASY! ;)

Ryan – Will find out what the restrictions are to designers from outside Germany or the EU.
