Most companies will probably shy away from moving office at the moment. Advertising agency Gummo together with i29 they embraced the motto of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ to create a stylish office space that would impact as little as possible on the environment or their wallets.
All the furniture was all locally sourced via Marktplaats (the Dutch eBay), charity shops and whatever was left over at the old office. Everything was then spray painted with a dark grey polyurea hotspray (an environmentally friendly paint).

Great idea, but what happens when the paint starts to chip and peel off the pleather couch and other furniture? Not sure how long it will look good.

The paint does not chip off at all. But I have stumbled upon a lot of convincing research that argues it may not be as environmentally friendly as previously thought to be.

Looks great in this composition because of the big rooms with a lot of white colored space. I tried something like that a couple of years ago in a room with the size of 6m by 5m and 2 small windows in one of the walls. Everything was colored in a graphite gray. The look was ubercool, but the daily use was horrible. It was nearly impossible to bring enough light into the room, even by day. A good choice is to keep it like this example, with the contrast of enough white.
