I can defiantly relate to Matt & Glenn's frustration. Being a recent graduate myself, I toyed with the idea of shooting my work like that, but very quickly changed my mind... It's an old trick, but I wonder if people out of the design industry even notice. My guess is not.

@Matt - I don't get it either! And there's been enough comments on FFF that should let people know about the comparison.

@Gary - Definitely a big NO! to browser resizing.

Nice work none the less!

Imagine Made Thought hadn't shot their portfolio angled on two tones of gray — I wonder how the vast majority of designers in blog-land, both students and (embarrassingly) professional designers, would photograph/present work? A boring discussion topic I know, but obviously still a very relevant one — http://www.designassembly.org/2009/02/13/presenting-work/

At a glance Daniel's work is seems interesting, but I can't get past the MadeThought reference...

Site aside the work is great, some really beautiful editorial work and all very nicely shot. If the site design was in Html it would be actually quite nice, its just the loading and the slow transitions that annoy. ;)
