Robbie Cooper’s work offers a unique viewpoint, looking his subjects square in the eye. In this project, Immersion, Cooper filmed young children deeply engaged in the act of playing computer games. Both the video and photographs are extremely insightful and I’m sure everyone can relate the intensity and frustration that comes with playing games ever now and again.
Cooper recently undertook another project for Wallpaper* magazine, along the same lines of Immersion, but instead filming porn aficionados, to the point of ecstasy.
