What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

This is a significant opportunity to lead a busy digital development team. Our client is one of the UK’s largest digitally led integrated agencies. With a reputation for boldness, innovation and creativity, the team is always getting to grips with new clients and new technologies in a fast-paced environment. With your leadership, they will continue to push boundaries and go boldly into new territory.

The team enjoys great variety thanks to a large and diverse client base – from global companies to retail and finance, from private to public sector. You’ll work with all kinds of instantly recognisable brands and enjoy the chance to lead and oversee projects employing the very latest trends, technology and methods – including inventive online advertising campaigns, engaging websites, viral campaigns, interactive flash modules, banners and MPUs.

Quite simply, you’ll make a pivotal contribution. Running a London-based team of programmers, developers, designers, and project managers, you’ll drive innovation while overseeing the technical, infrastructure and IT aspects of the agency’s work. You’ll work closely with Online Media, Creative, Account Teams, to provide cohesive solutions for clients. Developing teams and processes, efficiency and quality, you’ll monitor industry trends, identify opportunities, make presentations to the board and lead pitches to corporate decision-makers.

Commercial senior management experience is essential. You have a track record of building and leading large and diverse technical teams, managing complex relationships and developing high quality, customer-focussed work. You’ll have operational experience with a web development and communications business, and a recognised project management accreditation (PRINCE 2 or equivalent).

Of course, your design and creative excellence combined with your technical knowledge and skills are second-to-none – including UI and layout design, Front/Back End coding and Flash technologies. You’ll demonstrate a robust understanding of web accessibility and usability principles, associated W3C Validation Standards, backed by a solid understanding of build and deploy server environments including Team Foundation Server, IIS and DNS services.
