A very witty take on some of the most popular web services from French illustrator Retrofuturs.
Add Share
Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.
Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.
We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.
So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.
Keep it real, the FFF team.

Aye, I’m not sure about these either. Doesn’t beat Olly Moss’ Video Game Classics!

I think no body does these better than Olly Moss but still they’re not a bad idea or badly executed.

you know you’re in trouble when what you’re known for is a pastiche of a true classic..
But yeah, do these guys create solely for the purpose of them ending up on ffffound? I dunno.

To be fair, Olly is pretty bored of these now too, and don’t even get him started on the ‘Keep Calm & Carry On’ stuff either.

Ah yes, the ‘Keep Calm & Carry on’ fiasco. I still adore the original poster, but seeing a thousand and one ‘witty’ send-ups is really getting quite tiresome. We can all copy a classic piece of design and put a zingy line in it, but what’s the point?

I agree, there is an abundance of these but lets not stifle the creative outlets of others. Sure its a pastiche and most probably created for fun, but its these self initiated projects that keep us all sane. also, technically they are well executed and had this guy beaten all the others to the punch them I am sure we would be singing praises. Long story short this guy has put a lot of effort into these, so although its been done practically to death, at least recognize the technical ability, its easy to copy, but to copy well is an art in itself.
