What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

Andy Neal has been in touch to let us know about a collaborative student project that has become this years UCF A0 promotional course poster. Check out the making of it here – and if you’re a student considering where to go to study graphic design, illustration etc. Falmouth should be right up there on your list.

  11. Mike – tell me about it! Andy’s email said this:
As you may remember, we do a promotional course poster each year. This year, it’s big. A0 to be precise, made up out of prints from our nice new (old) set of woodblock type we bought over the Summer (don’t you wish you were still here!).
    Yes, yes i do!

George – try this one… [email protected]

  13. Best poster yet I reckon.. Just wish I was around to see all the IT improvement, as well as just to mess around on the letterpress! We had to settle with cutting letters out of bits of cardboard!

That video makes me yearn for the sea though

  15. Great work. I love the poster and I am amazed how they managed to put it all together. It is great to learn by working as a team. Falmouth looks like a very nice place to study.

  25. Posters arrived today through the post and look great! My only gripe would be the dark blue copy that doesn’t seem to sit with the black image as well as grey would have done… but still, impressive and beautiful. Thanks andy!
