We work across website design and build, e-commerce, e-marketing, multimedia design, social media and mobile app development. Our client list features diverse household names such as ScottishPower, BBC and DC Thompson, as well as premier Scottish arts organisations.
We are looking for someone with strong digital experience who is skilled in front-end design, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Experience in Flash would also be advantageous. A portfolio that shows these skills, plus your flexibility and adaptability to different media is essential. It might help if you can design a bit too.
You’ll be working alongside a team of technical web developers (PHP and .NET specialists) so evidence of an ability to understand obscure cartoon references, to not take offence from a ‘rolling eyes’ gesture and patience, oh so much patience, would be helpful.
Our designers work directly with clients so you would need to be able to interpret a client’s needs, produce great design to the highest standard, and present it back to the client who will see you as a trusted and knowledgeable consultant on all things digital-design related (at least to your face).
