On 2nd March, Metro is taking their ongoing weekly feature with D&AD, Behind the Idea, to the front page with a competition challenging creatives to design a cover-wrap that will wake up commuters. The competition is called ‘It’s A Wrap’. The winning design will be wrapped around Metro, and the winner’s latest professional work will feature in ‘Behind the Idea’ on 6 April. In case anybody missed the results, the winning entry was announced last Wednesday, a team at The Partners came out on top with their simple and beautiful idea to ‘make someone’s day’— turning the wrap into a bunch of flowers by rolling up the paper.
It came out in print today, flooded across all of London, people have been sending in their photos to The Partners’ blog, which you can view here.
