Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.
Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.
We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.
So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.
Keep it real, the FFF team.

Dare I say it, but I don’t like this site.
The work is of course great, but the type on image layout does not work for me, it’s illegible.

Brave comment Guy, I was tempted to agree with you until I saw that all important Hide(?) button… The work deserves to be fully seen and (when it is) for me the new site is a massive improvement on the old, where the work often seemed too distant. Great to see some of those excellent projects fullscreen.

What’s all this about a “brave comment”? If you don’t like it, this is an open opportunity to air your views. These people aren’t deities! Its perfectly reasonable to say if you don’t like it, just as much as its fine to say you love it.
Sorry, but I had to point this out.

Great photography has a nice freshness, really cool and professional look as to be expected.

How very dare you oppress Luke’s right to question the validity of Guy’s comment.
Whether a person likes or does not like the fact that a second person may or may not like what they themselves like, or indeed do not like, is, like, none of your business. Having said that, I must agree with your disagreement with Luke’s implication that Mr Michael C Place may in fact be immortal (rendering Luke’s opinion irrelevant, after all, how does one question the sublime?). I saw Mr Place once, albeit from a distance, and he looked human enough to me. These people (?) are indeed not deities, and it is indeed equally valid to dislike said human(s) as it is to like them and/or their work. Well spotted.
Unfortunately, there are some BIGOTS out there who simply have to point out that any negative comment aimed at a studio as respected and prolific as Build must be at best brave and at worst sadly misguided, well it just drives me…..
Hang on, what’s that you say Luke? Tounge in cheek? Oh, forget I said anything then

Wow, calm down guys. Ranald, by extolling the virtues of freedom of opinion surely that includes my own?
My response to Guys comment wasn’t intended to be taken so seriously, merely a reference to the high esteem in which Michael’s work is (rightly in my opinion) held… and also about how Guy had perhaps missed the simple hide text function which might have totally changed his initial reaction to the sites usability…
Obviously MCP isn’t immortal, but he is a rad designer with heaps of great work.

wasn’t sure at first, but I’ve had a good look round it now and I have to say that I quite like it. The use of the arrow keys is quite nifty, and the work looks great when viewed full screen
but is anyone else freaked out by the cat? each to their own but I prefer my cats with a bit more fur on them
