An internship has become available within the design department at Mr & Mrs Smith , boutique-hotel booking service and guidebook publisher. The placement would involve supporting our in-house designer in designing for the web and print. Internships last between one and three months.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
· Helping maintain the current website, uploading and editing images for our hotels
· Designing e-communications such as monthly newsletters for members
· Assisting in the current re-design of the Smith website, including producing art direction for the new site
· Working on a number of print items, such as guidebooks and direct marketing pieces
Applicants need to have an understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Flash would be beneficial.
This is not a job vacancy and the position is unpaid position (though travel expenses and lunch will be covered). Mr & Mrs Smith is based in leafy west London on the Chiswick High Road.
