Merrell is an independent publisher that produces award-winning, high-quality books on a wide range of subjects. We are looking for a Junior Designer to work with the Creative Director and Senior Designer on the design of our books and sales materials. The successful candidate will have a particular interest in books and typography and be highly organized, with an excellent eye for detail. A good communicator, you will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Your computer skills should include QuarkXPress, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Web experience is helpful, and some knowledge of print-production processes is preferred.
