Aussie agency Collider have done a brilliant job designing MOS Chillout Sessions XII album artwork and corresponding commercials. Capturing the hip, relaxing chic of 1950-80′s California, through stunning photography of miniaturised scenes. Photographed at a macro level and filmed using slow dolly moves, the shallow depth of field and static figures freezes time giving you the chance to imagine the depth of the scene. Above all it looks pretty damn good to. I just hope that UK releases of MOS records were more like this, with less of a need to stick a bloody big MOS logo in 3D everywhere.
If you’ve never come across Collider either, there folio is definitely worth a butchers.
