What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

Inspiration / NoBrow Gallery & Shop

I took the time out yesterday to pop along to Nobrow Shop and Gallery space in Old Street yesterday and it didn’t disappoint. Stuffed to the brim with brilliant examples of illustration, story telling and printed objects many of which are printed on-site through Nobrow’s self-publishing outlet. The gallery and shop space are at the front of their offices and with a sneaky peek you can see all the action going on behind the scenes during the day. It’s be really interesting if they did the odd day a year giving a short presentation or tour around their working screen printing rooms as well—maybe one for the future?

If you’re in East London head along to the store at 62 Great Eastern Street, EC2A 3QR (Monday to Friday 11 am – 6 pm every week apart from bank holidays) or check on the Nobrow site for more information. Even it the shop is closed for the day you’ll be stood outside admiring the well designed monotone illustrations adorning Nobrow’s roller blinds provided by the talented Ben Newman.
