I think that means that ‘Fitest’ is written on the bike (spelt incorrectly)
Lovely illustrations though. I love it when someone can really strip everything back and still communicate clearly and elegantly.

I really don’t like that bike poster, it’s a bit clumsy & bulbous (the typo doesn’t help), but I don’t think it’s an exciting stylization for a bike. Everything else however is fantastic. I especially like the Creative Review cover & the human body, some nice vivid colour in the illustrations too!

@Dylan Taylor
Of course you’re perfectly welcome to that opinion. Just so happens that bike illustration is one of my favourites.
Wouldn’t design be boring if everybody had the same tastes? ;)

@Sean, I just found my comment on this – and in hindsight I\\\’m really embarrassed, sorry, that was super rude of me, I must have been having an off day. I do really like your illustration though – I actually bought that CR just for the cover :)
Best,
Dylan

@Dylan No need to apologise, we all have initial gut-reactions to design, you’re entitled to your opinion, and of corse entitled to change it ;)
(And just to be clear, it’s not my illustration, it’s the work of Peter Grundy)
