These titles are all aspirational, luxury lifestyle magazines which target various affluent consumer and corporate audiences.
This is pivotal role in which you will be fully responsible for the layout and visual appearance of our various titles. Other projects, and/or contract publishing may be assigned by the Head of Design. Adhering to and following style sheets and templates to maintain the magazine’s brand, the ideal candidate should be knowledgeable, smart and professional for pitches if and when they occur.

Scope of work:
-Design/layout magazines, brochures and print-related artwork, to a high, creative standard
-Reporting and liaising directly to the Head of Design to take a brief and any feedback. Also at time directly with clients
-Ability to come up with various solutions/concepts to move forward and design more effective layouts and artwork (consistently meeting the brief)
-Working with Editors, Sub-editors and production to tight deadlines to ensure the magazine goes to print.
-Check, export, and upload hi-res Pdf’s of editorial to the printers.
Essential:
-A strong portfolio displaying magazine design, a range of graphic design and ideally some experience in brand design
-A strong conceptual approach to designing magazines/print artwork as well as the final execution itself
-Ability to take briefs and deliver creative solutions/concepts.
-A strong knowledge of In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat (CS4) working on PC’s
-An in-depth knowledge of current graphic design trends and techniques.
-A flexible and dedicated attitude with proven experience of working within a team, as well as independently
-Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

-In-Design (CS2/CS3/CS4)
-Photoshop (CS2/CS3/CS4)
-Illustrator (CS2/CS3/CS4)
-Acrobat (7 and upwards)
