What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better. So we spent many moons working on a brand new FormFiftyFive, still high in eye (and brain) candy, but with a brand new look and lots of new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community.

We’ve also added more interactive elements on the site so people can exchange and store ideas more easily, encouraging collaboration and making the site more than just another design blog.

So have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

  1. Nice work. Although why have they placed movie poster creative on their website if they had no involvement with the design!? A resize of artwork to fit a bus shelter and a press advert…Really! I hate agencies who claim to have worked with massive international corporations when all they really did was resize a logo! Very miss leading.

  3. It it sad that all you took from this vast body of work was a small poster job!

Clearly 1977 has a broad and well considered body of work and client base to match. They also make no such claims if you actually read the project details they overtly state their involement in the project e.g ‘reworking the key US artwork’,

Do you know what I hate?… People making silly points on comments boards, from a man that actually shows no work on his website http://www.hellostarling.com.

At least you don’t claim to have involvement with large international client, which judging by your website you almost certainly don’t.

  5. Hi John. Thanks for taking time to look at our website, I hope you found something there you liked. In regards to the film poster projects our involvement varied between designing the posters (in some instances) to reworking and developing the key artwork. In all cases though what we are showing in these projects is our ability to handle national film campaigns, showing clients our ability to handle and run such large and diverse projects. If we didn’t design the poster then we don’t claim to have designed the poster. Our capability of handling such large projects shows our clients we can be relied upon to deliver.

Jovan, many thanks for your response too. As you say we are completely transparent with our involvement in every project, and the film poster projects are intended to show our capabilities as a studio who can deliver and handle a national campaign for an international client, and not only designing a poster.
