Launched in April 2011, Motilo.com is an online community where you can shop together in real time with your friends. Motilo offers an interactive fashion-focused social network fused with a unique e-commerce platform.
Motilo.com is looking for a Middleweight Graphic Designer with strong digital/web design skills. Whilst creativity and knowledge of the latest fashion and design trends are a must, good efficiency and organization skills are essential. The ability to manage your time well under tight deadlines, to work well independently and to be resourceful is vital. The candidate must also be responsible for maintaining high standards for all aspects of the company’s creativity and will be expected to demonstrate the ability to develop and execute creative solutions across a broad spectrum.
Essential Skills
• To be able to produce ‘ground-breaking’ design consistently
• An ability to think strategically about your creative briefs
• The ability to work efficiently and adhering to strict deadlines
• To be able to write a specification of a project
• To recommend new innovative spec and ideas for projects
• To liaise with the other areas of the company (where requested by the Art Director) in a professional manner and report back to the Art Director
• To be completely fluent in all current design programmes and to continually learn and keep up-to-date with new graphic software
• Upkeep of knowledge of what’s going on in the creative world locally and globally. Especially in the areas of typography, fashion and web/digital design
• An outstanding portfolio showing examples of design for print and web. Demonstrating creativity, strong typographic skills and awareness of appropriate design trends
