Every year, I get excited like a kid on Christmas Day. Why? Because the Best Awards, which recognises the best of NZ creativity, is updated with the latest batch of amazing work from this over-performing, under-recognised corner of the globe. Why and how they keep delivering the goods in NZ, I’m not sure, but hot damn they know how to design in the land of the long white cloud.

Image above is a piece titled ‘Digital Wattle’ by Out of the dark. And yes, my Aussie pride (read: Kiwi jealousy) is exactly why I confusingly chose an Opera House image to promote NZ creativity. Couldn’t help myself, I’m patriotic ok!
