What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of designers, illustrators, coders and makers eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

We scour the world’s best creative talent to keep FormFiftyFive a foremost collection of current design from both the young upstarts and well known masters. We’re constantly on the look out for new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community, so get in touch if there’s something you’ld like to see on here.

Have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

The Printorium

I’m not personally a Harry Potter fan, but I found this little video by MinaLima fascinating. What a great project to be involved in (if you like that kind of thing, of course).

The Printorium brand was designed by London’s Structure — you can read more about it here, and here’s a brief intro by Miraphora (Mina) and Eduardo (Lima) taken from their site:

The Printorium are graphic designers Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, brought together in 2001 by the artistic needs of the early Harry Potter movies.

Establishing the visual graphic style of Harry Potter from the outset, we’ve helped inspire joy and wonder with the creation of hundreds of unique graphic prop designs for each of the eight films. These include The Marauders’ Map, The Daily Prophet and a multitude of items for Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.

Building on our wealth of experience in the industry, The Printorium explores the rich visual appeal of a collection of iconic films from an artistic perspective. Our offering encompasses collectable fine art prints from unique and original designs, all produced for the first time ever in our London studio.

Matt sure has been busy! Definitely one of the most prolific street artists out there at the moment.

Those animal illustrations remind me of vintage children’s books – Mid Century, Danish style. Would look awesome as a series of art prints!
