Love this book Mike and the guys at Interbrand have created for the retoucher Steve Bland AKA The Great Blandini. It is all based around 10 photoshop tricks Steve uses. Craig Oldham has been in touch to let us know that his fantastic handwritten letter project book has been reprinted with extra contributions from loads of great designers and studios, there is also a rather beautiful looking limited edition slipcase version which comes with the bonus of being inscribed by the great man himself. As before a percentage of proceeds from this book will be donated to the National Literacy Trust and will also support D&AD. Great causes and a great idea so dig deep and buy one or two. Really looking forward to this, one of my favourite agencies GBH are coming to Leeds to celebrate their 12th birthday by discussing a dozen of their most important projects including: Eurostar, Virgin Galactic and Puma.

Should be a entertaining talk and there is even a Q&A Raffle, designed especially for the evening by GBH.

Another good cause here from Craig at Music. He has ben running the handwritten letter project for a few years now and he has now launched a limited edition book, created with experimental production methods including real letterheads from various contributors. The proceeds are going to the National literacy trust. Find out more about the project, exhibition and book here.

I know this has been on a few blogs today, but it is for a really good cause so I thought I’d share it anyway. Lee from B&W Studio is climbing Mont Blanc in July to raise funds for St. George’s Crypt.

The mountain stands at 4810 meters and the aim is to raise £1 per meter. To help promote the fundraiser they have designed some promotional mail outs. You can donate here then pop here and I’m sure he will send you one. Good luck Lee.
