My boys Tom Wrigglesworth (of the HP Printer fame) & Mathieu Cuvelier (of the Old Man Jedi fame) have made this lovely little short.

Set in the oldest Piano shop in France, it shows the story of a repairman who breathes life back into pianos, by harvesting parts from older pianos, or making them himself. Lovely, idiosyncratic character, lovely grade & sound too (credits on Vimeo page).

Just got a lovely publication through the post. 

KOOK is a zine done by Dan Crockett & the boys at A-Side Studio. It’s a lovely insight into surfing culture in an earnest and intriguing way.

Some great articles, lovely illustrations and some really charming gonzo photography.

It’s created and produced for the shared joy of producing something different. It’s published yearly and not for profit.

Seen this video a few times now. The more i see it – the more i like it. It’s subtle – but i love the truth element here. Rap isn’t just for ‘ghetto gangsta’ kids and it’s massively consumed by upper middle class white kids – in their pseudo-non-conformist hoodies. I also like the way i can totally relate to the dramatisation of crap suburbia – being bored and causing havoc with the rest of my loser friends

weird – it’s a slow one, but the more i watch it – the more punch it packs
