A lovely looking little trailer for a new film on leading Canadian designer, educator and painter Burton Kramer by Greg Durrell of A Brief History Of. Also worth mentioning there is a lovely retrospective book available on a half century of identity work by Kramer.

Milton Glaser is among the most celebrated graphic designers, it would be fair to call him a living legend. We all know his classics, but it’s great to see his more recent work, which also has Glaser’s trademark timeless elegance to it.

Today is a good day. Another exquisite design studio has made it to the web. We Are Fellows is a small creative studio based in Hamburg, specializing in brand direction and digital design. The Studio was founded in 2011 and is run by two charming gentlemen named  Andreas Lexa and Malte Müller. They offer a contemporary visual approach and focus on creating accessible user experiences.

I met Malte, who is also running electricgecko, quite some years back and we became very good friends. You should meet him and Andreas too, they are both amazing. Follow We Are Fellows on Facebook & Twitter.

Open Studio Club went live last Friday. It’s a website that lets creative people swap or rent studio spaces around the world. It’s a bit like couch surfing for creative studios.

So, if you’re thinking of working for a bit in Berlin or New York next year, Open Studio Club can help find a space.

Mother have been in touch (the agency, not Hannah) to let us know about a new t-shirt company – and accompanying site – just launched: Mother’s Psychic T-shirts. The premise is pretty odd so I’ll let you read all about it for yourselves. They’re pricey but as its all for a good cause (Every single penny of the tees sold will go to the UK’s largest charity for elder people, Age UK) they’re selling fast. But you already knew that, right?

For today’s instalment of christmas card goodness, this effort from Sydney ad agency Host, impressed with it’s mix of video, real world experience and some ‘whoah cool what the heck is that’ technological gee-whiz-ardry — they topped it off with a funny name inspired by the unfortunate name of the street the agency is located on. Another massive production, so I’m hoping to find something simple, beautiful or clever for tomorrow.

Some great Xmas cards from studios kicking around this year, I’ve decided to post 1 a day that I find particularly appealing. I’m kicking it off with this stirling effort from London branding studio VentureThree — such a simple idea, but an amazing execution. I also found their previous effort from 2009 very appealing.

To mark the launch of their new website, Armoury London have produced a nice festive film. This film is about London giving back. It features young people from all over the city including Croydon, Tottenham and Hackney. The director, Jack Laurance, grew up in Dalston.
