I just came across these fantastic illustrations that Dan Matutina did for Alex Mathers’ book on Self-Promotion using Google Plus, playing with the theme social space. If you’re unfamiliar with Dan’s work be sure to stop by and check out his portfolio. I love the textured, geometric, slightly retro feel of all his illustrations.

FUEL are possibly best known for their self-published books and magazines which cover a range of topics, from Russian criminals’ tattoos to the design of Sainsbury’s own brand products in the 60′s and 70′s.

They recently launched a new website, which celebrates the work they have created during the last 20 years.

Christian Wischnewski aka Wischnik is by far one of my most favorite illustrators and the third person i’d like to introduce. We met way back in university around 2007 and still he keeps suprising me with his ironic and humorous sketches and illustrations, also to be seen over on flickr.

He used to run the infamous blog Blockpaua where he and his fellows collected an impressive selection of modern block architecture.

Christian lives and works in Berlin, which is good, because we can grab drinks together. Cheers.
