BLA BLA is a lovely little interactive narrative by Vincent Morisset. One of those rare cases where the use of Flash feels entirely justified.

It is a “tale that explores the fundamental principles of human communication” where the “viewer makes the story possible”.

German Photographer Nicola Roman Walbeck has had a site overhaul by Hans Schaale & Christian Potthast. One of those Flash sites that just works – Loads quickly, easy to use, nice layout & sweet transitions. If you’re building a Flash portfolio this should be the yardstick to measure your site by!

We’ve been getting a lot of enjoyment out of this well executed project from London based Moving Brands. Living Identity is literally that, a living publication. Take the cover of the book and point it at your webcam and watch as the browser augments reality.

Augmented reality isn’t anything new and we’ve seen it before, but the integration with Vimeo, Flickr, RSS feeds and Twitter really pushes this technology to the next level.

Can’t get enough of the new Umbro site! There are so many nice little details and random things to be found. I couldn’t find out who designed it yet, but will let you know if I do.

Update — The site seems to be the handy work of Rokkan.

Update — All strategy, creative ideas, concept development is by Anomaly, who worked with Rokkan on the main framework, the England work is by Perfect Fools, and the Speciali customisation by Enjoy This.

FFF’s Nessim Higson has put together a new portfolio with a staggering ammount of first class work! As Nessim explains: “The site shell is a reaction to standardization. It’s meant to challenge the concept of space and how it’s perceived within ye olde browser window. It will undoubtably frustrate some, but may contribute to a large laugh and / or smile for others. It’s more experiment and temporary in nature than stiff and permanent.”

It does take a bit of getting used to but there are so many little details that you end up spending far more time with it then you’d think! Check it out and let us know what you think.
