Universal Everything have created a new (to me at least) showreel, full of their trademark visually rich, sharp end communication.

This is easily the best execution of an interactive wall installation that I’ve seen in a while. Love the fanfare when the door opens.

Adam from Remote Location has asked us to let you all know about Butter Star Galactica, a game they produced in collaboration with Thomas Traum (Digital club) & Mike Tucker (Hi-Res) for the new Hudson Mohawke LP ‘Butter’ on Warp Records.

The basic premise: You must navigate a small chunk of butter upwards through 3 fantastical worlds (Safari, Warp Tunnel & The Space Butter Hyper Club) in order to get home safely to Mother Butter

Each level unlocks free downloads from the album, and you can log your name on the Butter leaderboard to get a chance of winning more prizes.

Johanna Basford an illustrator from my hometown Aberdeen, has just completed the first interactive illustration using the micro-blogging platform Twitter. Basford asked her Twitter followers to contribute ideas for her to incorporate into an illustration which she put together live over two days updating every stage with a picture of the slowly forming piece. In the project named TwitterPicture, she used every suggestion made (238) to create the print of which you can now buy a limited edition silk screen print. The whole project has received a fair bit of exposure over the last few days and is well worth a look.

After a fairly hefty load, this is a promotional site for HBO featuring stories told from four ’sides’ using an interactive cube. Admittedly the stories are pretty cheesy, but this is a great narrative device.
